ABOUT- LOUISE BIRD

After training and working as a freelance illustrator she moved into painting and portraiture about 20 years ago. She has lived, worked and exhibited in the UK and Middle East and after several relocations is now happily settled in Devon, UK.

Wherever her artistic exploration takes her, she is always drawn back to figurative work and the human character. She works hard to capture the subject’s personality within each painting and bring out an individual quality.
